Below Deck star Ross Inia had a serious run-in with the police in Florida over the weekend — much like Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps did last Christmas Eve. Police officers in Palm Beach arrested the deckhand on Saturday morning for disorderly intoxication and battery on an officer.
Inia was placed in jail in the early morning hours on Saturday and posted bail later that evening.
According to People, police were called to Duffy’s Sports Grill after Inia got into an altercation with two men. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene and tried their best to stop the fight.

In the course of breaking it up, Inia hit an officer in the face and shoulder, which resulted in battery charges. It is unclear if the reality star plead guilty to the charges.
Officers claim that Inia’s breath smelled like alcohol and that the reality star threatened one of the officer’s family members.
Earlier that evening, Inia and his Below Deck co-star, Joao Franco, shared videos of themselves partying at local bars on Instagram.
After the fight and arrest, Franco attempted to find Inia at the local jail. But officers told him that it was going to take hours just to book him through the system.
“Ross is in jail … and we’ve been looking for him four hours and counting,” Franco told his followers on Instagram.
Inia is originally from New Zealand and plays a deckhand on Below Deck, a reality show that documents the lives of crew members who work in the mega-yacht industry.
The deckhand made his debut on the show in Season 6. He posted $15,000 for his bond and is currently awaiting trial.

The drama is reminiscent to what de Lesseps pulled last year over the holidays. As fans will recall, de Lesseps was arrested in Florida for resisting arrest and hitting an officer.
De Lesseps was forced to complete 50 hours of community service and attend treatment programs to deal with her alcoholism.
